Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, let a website remember small pieces of information on your device. This page explains the little that Vision stores, and why.
What we store
Vision doesn’t set cookies of its own. The app uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device, for things it can’t work without:
- Keeping you signed in, so you don’t have to sign in on every visit.
- Your appearance, so the app opens in light or dark mode as you chose, without a flash.
- Small preferences on this device, such as Guided prompts or Free writing in your journal, or the affirmation you chose for today.
None of this is used to track you or shared with anyone, and it’s removed when you sign out or clear your browser’s data.
What we don’t use
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics, and nothing that follows you around other websites. Because we only store what’s strictly needed to provide the service you asked for, the law doesn’t require us to ask for consent, so there’s no cookie banner.
Other services
- Stripe. If you choose Plus, you pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Stripe uses its own cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces on our site and in the app are delivered by Google, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them. Google doesn’t set cookies for this.
- Cloudflare. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.
Your choices
You can clear what Vision stores at any time by signing out or clearing your browser’s data for this site. You’ll then need to sign in again, and your device preferences will reset. Everything in your account stays safe.
